Day 7 at the World Championships

That brings an end to a fantastic seven days of dancing at the World Irish Dancing Championships 2011 from Citywest, Dublin.

We would like to congratulate all of those who participated and thank you all for joining us this week. Your visits to the site generated over 400,000 hits. We hope you have enjoyed our coverage of this year's World Championships. Happy Easter to you all. See you next time.


Championship Results Today:
8:30pm The winning Senior Ladies Figure teams are now on stage receiving their medals.

7:15pm The Ladies 20-21 results are being announced at the moment.

6:39pm Now on stage in the Senior Ladies Figure competition is team number 112.

6:01pm It has just been announced that the Ladies 20-21 results will be announced after the figures have finished in the other hall as there are some competitors involved in both competitions. The scheduled time for this is 6:30pm.

The recall for the Senior Ladies Ceili Championship is as follows: 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 108, 110, 111, 112, 114, 116, 121, 122, 131, 132, 135, 137, 139, 141, 142, 143, 145, 146, 147. (Team List)

4:00pm That completes the second round of the Senior Mixed Ceili. The recalls for the Senior Ladies Ceili competition are due to be announced shortly.

3:25pm That completes the first round of the Senior Ladies Ceili competition. The second round of the Senior Mixed Ceili will now commence.

2:48pm The Senior Ladies Ceili competition continues with team number 102 dancing Trip to the Cottage.

The recall for the Senior Mixed Ceili Championship is as follows: 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 113, 118. (Team List)

1:30pm The first round of the Senior Mixed Ceili has finished. We will now move onto the first round of the Senior Ladies Ceili.

12:34pm The Senior Mixed Ceili Teams have been called side stage for their first round.

12:30pm Currently on stage in the Ladies 20-21 recall round is competitor 113 dancing Planxty Drury at speed 71.

12:20pm That completes the Senior Mens recall round.

11:10am The Men 19-21 have completed their sets. We await the Senior Mens recall.
